DEVELOPING: Two New York police officers are in critical condition after
they were reportedly shot in the head at point-blank range on Saturday when
a suspect attacked them as they sat in a patrol car.

“It’s an execution,” one law enforcement source told The Post.

The gunman just started “pumping bullets” into the patrol car, another
source said.

The suspect then fled to a nearby subway station before he was shot and
killed. It was unclear whether the suspect was shot by police or committed
suicide.

investigators believe was a crazed gunman’s -assassination-style mission to
avenge Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

The tragic heroes were working overtime as part of an anti-terrorism drill
in Bedford-Stuyvesant when they were shot point-blank in the head by the
lone gunman, identified by sources as Ismaaiyl Brinsley, 28, who had
addresses in Georgia and Brooklyn.
