Accounting + Information System 似乎是当下商学院undergraduate最热门的专业之
一， 据我所以包括以下原因：
1. double major 满足了elective course 而且可以筹150 credits for CPA
2. Networking event上跟Big 4 partners聊天得知他们特别prefer Accounting +
Information System
3. 商学院向来是Asian聚集比较多的学校， 而Asian习得一个information system
degree 相对轻松

想问问版上的大神们对Accounting + Information System职业规划的见解

我目前对Accounting + Information System的见解是这样的（please correct me if
i were wrong）：
1. 若是进入public accounting 做audit or tax， 似乎information system degree
就白读了，所以或许big 4 的consulting是最优选择 （当然也不是说想进就能进。 其
他地区我不了解， 就美国东北地区为例， 进入big 4 consulting的竞争远超tax &
audit， 其实从pay range 也能看出。 Tax&Audit; pay range 是 60K左右， 而
consulting 是75K 左右）

2. 去industry 做internal audit， 特别是internal audit 的 IT 组， 好像也是一
个不错的选择， 因为一下原因：

a- internal audit pay range 是 60K 左右， 跟 big 4 的tax&audit; 差不多， 但是
internal audit for IT 是 75K
b- 没有information system degree的business graduate很难进入这个领域， 当然可
能会遇到information technology or computer science的竞争对手
c- 考个CPA + CISA 甚至再加个CIA 证书， 你就是specialist， pay也跟着往上升
d - 差点忘了这个可能是最重要的原因： industry工作时间稳定， 一般都是40-45hr
，很少超过50. 而public accounting firm 平均 是70hr。 多出来的时间可能可以把
CIA&CISA; 考了， 甚至parttime 读一个master

我的见解可能比较愚昧， 只是想抛砖引玉问问版上有经验大神的意见。 我现在是
undergrate senior， 相信很多 junior 和senior也有类似的问题想知道。 所以如果
可以指点一下的话， 那就太好了。
