已经毕业后第6年了。目前在一个研究型实验室正式职位。publication track还行。所
有面试的学校都提到这点。个人funding近期内不用愁。但做PI的机会几近于无。担心
过几年实验室大方向一变丢工作。

今年第一次上job market。4个面试。MSU是唯一一个把我列为top candidate的学校。
给了口头offer。正在谈条件（其实目前给的条件都已经很不错了，看得出人家很有诚
意）。学校排名的确很低，都200开外了。不过所在的系比较强，教授的水平都不错。
一年2门课。

目前有另外一个排名100左右的把我列为2nd candidate。苦逼的是人家现在也正在跟
top candidate谈条件。一年4门课。

在犹豫要不要去MSU了。博士老板说去了再跳槽很难。
“My experience is that unless your become a "star", it is hard to move from
one place to another. So, if you decide to go to MSU then go with the idea
that it is permanent.”
